About
I am an entrepreneur and founder of several web and technology companies, where I serve as an advisor and Director, providing the overall vision and web strategy as well as technology support. These include Medindia.net - India’s #1 health website (and among the top health websites globally), India4u.com - one of the earliest Indian web portals and FrontPoint Systems, a web applications development, SEO/SEM and managed web hosting company - with offices in India and USA. I also provide advisory and consulting services in the areas of business models, monetization, strategy and marketing.
In the past, I also founded dynaPro, a value added reseller of computer hardware, systems and custom software development and PcPortable.com - an early web based e-commerce business that manufactured and sold very high-end, custom portable computers to customers globally. Prior to that I was a management consultant with Touche (now Deloitte), and a systems analyst/programmer developing performance optimization products using assembler for IBM mainframe computers. I have a MS in Computer Science from Penn State Univerity, an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Madras.

My interests are fueled by a desire to discover and learn new stuff on a very broad range of topics ranging from the mundane to the divine.
